DIY Dollar Tree Bottle

I'm back with another project I did.  I found this cute bottle at the Dollar Tree.  I thought I could do something cute with it.  I am very pleased with how it turned out!  I wish I would have gotten another one.

I also got that mirror at Dollar Tree, but I am not finished with it yet.  For the bottle I used: Old Town chalk paint (two coats), Painter's Touch clear coat, twine, gold leaf syrup graphic, sand paper, and a stain marker.

Here is the graphic I used.  To get that "old" effect tear it, don't cut it.

Pretty easy actually, did two coats of chalk paint, Mod Podged the label on, aged it with the stain pen, nicked it with sand paper, and clear coated the whole thing.

If I like how the mirror turns out I might do a post on that, too.  :)  Blessings, Morgan

  1. Looks great! Ooh the mirror would be really really cool :D

  2. You did a beautiful job! Turned out so nice 😀

  3. Ooh, I like! It looks so cute and old-fashioned. Which is perfect because retro things are the best.

I can't wait to see how the mirror turns out! :)

    1. Thank you, Mary! Yes, I LOVE old-fashioned things, too! :)
